Carla Hoskins’s love of life did not end with her death. Carla passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 62 surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Carla was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Carla’s calling in life was working in the medical field, specifically taking care of the elderly. The simplest pleasures in life brought immense joy to Carla. Her wonderful personality and beautiful smile were contagious to everyone she met. Carla loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family. Carla was an animal lover! She also enjoyed listening to music, dancing, watching the Arizona Cardinal’s football games, watching old western movies with her dad, playing cards, board games, and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed quiet nights and long phone conversations with her sisters. Carla devoted much of her time as a caregiver to her family members, including her father who passed away at the age of 77. Carla’s greatest joy was simply spending time with her family.
Carla Faye Hoskins was born October 12, 1960, in Sacramento, Ca. She later moved to Arizona with her family, where she was raised and graduated in 1979 from Trevor Brown High School. Carla was preceded in death by her loving parents Walt and Lydia Hoskins, beloved brothers George Gauna and Kevin Hoskins, and adored nephew James Michael Gauna-Holguin. Carla is survived by her daughter Brandy Reveles, son-in-law Troy Wilbur and son Michael Reveles, daughter-in-law Natasha Robles. Adored grandchildren: Bryant, Senobia, and Landon. Siblings: Deborah, Eddie, Lisa, Sondra, Lia, Stacey, and Liana. As well as loved by aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services and a celebration of life will be held in early 2024.
