
TOLLESBORO | James Lorenzo Williams (Jimmy), 82, of Maysville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Jan. 5, 2013, with his family at his bedside at Ohio Valley Manor. Born on July 2, 1930, in Lewis County, he was the son of Hoarace and Edith Vermilion Williams. He is survived by wife, Wilma Moore Williams of Maysville; sons, James R. (Jim Bob) Williams and Debbie Williams of Tollesboro, Lester T. Williams and Wyvetta Williams of Maysville; grandchildren, Tara S. Williams of Tollesboro, Bobbee Noland Williams and Randy Noland of Flemingsburg; great-grandchildren, Betsy C. Noland and Evee L. Noland of Flemingsburg, Ashton Duncan and Madison Harper of Maysville; siblings, Charles Williams of Indiana, Richard Dickie Williams of Alabama, Shelby Williams of Maysville, Wayne Williams of Maysville, Betty Ross Williams of Maysville and Wilena Hughes Williams of Maysville. He was proceeded in death by brother, Wendell (Grassy) Williams of Maysville; and great-grandchild, Bonnie M. Noland of Flemingsburg. He was a self-employed carpenter and worked for Farm Bureau for over 30 years. He was a singer and songwriter, and played guitar in most area churches. He worked several years giving goat wagon rides locally. Services are Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m., at Barbour and Sons funeral home. The funeral will be conducted by Cecil Ison. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 8, 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home in Tollesboro.
