Harry Davis Osborne

Harry “Dave” Osborne, 70, of Tollesboro, Kentucky died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Lewis County, Kentucky on November 15, 1944 the son of the late John Oscar and Eliza Jane Hook Osborne. Mr. Osborne retired from Carmeuse Lime Company and attended the Hickory Grove Church in Tollesboro. He is survived by his wife, Carol Hay Osborne; his son, Jamie Darrell Osborne and his wife, Angel of Tollesboro, KY; one grandson, Braxten Davis Osborne and one sister, Phyllis Stanfield of Burtonville, KY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John David Osborne, one sister, Wanda Rankin and five brothers, Delmar, Wendell, Shelby, Lowell and his twin, Larry Dennis who died in infancy. Funeral services for Dave Osborne will be held at the Hickory Grove Church on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Charles Emmons and Pastor Silas Ripato officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be John Osborne, Al Prater, Steve Dunigan, Silas Ripato, Gerald Fields and Gary Mason. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Mason, Bill Hay and Bill Marshall. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the St. Claire Hospice, 222 Medical Circle, Morehead, KY 40351. The arrangements are under the direction of the Barbour and Son Funeral Home.
