Christy Jacqueline Grayson

Christy J. Grayson, 45, of Vanceburg, Kentucky died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. She was the widow of Stanely “Eddie” Grayson, Jr. who died August 2, 2012. Mrs. Grayson retired from US Shoe in Vanceburg and formerly worked at Tucker’s Country Market in Tollesboro. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on October 10, 1969 the daughter of the late Jerry and Sandy Duzan. She is survived by her two sons, Genis Grayson (Felicia) and Gaven Grayson both of Vanceburg, KY; one grandchild, Christian Grayson; her mother-in-law, Geneva Wilds of Portsmouth, OH; three sister-in-laws, Edwina Grayson of Portageville, MO, Andrea Huisjack and Julie Grayson both of Portsmouth, OH; one brother-in-law, Eric Grayson of Vanceburg, KY and a host of family and friends. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carla Skidmore. Funeral services for Christy Grayson will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2015 with Rev. Tony Corns officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM.
