On October 14, 2023, Thurman Eugene Saunders passed away. He is the beloved husband of the late Irene Marie Saunders (nee Fowlkes) ; father of Robert Saunders and his wives the late Gwen Saunders and Edith Saunders, John Saunders and his wife Linda, Linda Smith and her husband Martin, Karen Saunders, Janelle Whye, Patricia Saunders, Steven Saunders, Paul Saunders, Perry Saunders and his wife Tammy and the late William Saunders and Annon Whye; father in law of Vickie Natale and Martha Whye; dear brother of Mildred L. Cromwell and the late William "Otis" Saunders and Spencer Saunders; cherished grandfather of 27, great grandfather of 49 and great-great grandfather of 8 . Thurman is survived by his devoted friend Rev. Cynthia Harvin, close niece Cathy Nash and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
Celebration of Life Services will be celebrated on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 10:30am. Services will be livestreamed.
Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens .
