On April 25, 2013 Stella Thomakos; loving mother of the late Gus Thomakos, mother-in-law of Maria Thomakos; survived by her devoted children Yvonne Gekas and her husband George Gekas; Paula Kokolis and her husband Mike Kokolis; cherished Yiayia of George Thomakos, Valerie Smith, John Thomakos, Nick Gekas, Dean Gekas, Steven Gekas, Mario Kokolis, Georganne Mallas and Stephanie Pezzo; also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Monday, April 29 from 6 to 8PM and on Tuesday, April 30 from 10 to 10:30AM in the Cemetery Chapel of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21207 at which time a service will be celebrated at 10:30AM.
Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed in Mrs. Thomakos’ memory to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Annunciation, 24 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
