I'm so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing.  I will definitely miss my conversations with her.  Sandy had a great sense of humor and a very kind heart.   Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the family.  The pictures posted depict a wonderful life lived.  Sorry I cannot attend the service as I am out of town.

Hi, I was a friend of Sandy's on pogo. She was a hoot and well liked.
So sorry for your loss. Here is a poem for the family.

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into 
an angel, and flies up to tell God 
to put another flower on a pillow. 
A bird gives the message back to 
the world, and sings a silent prayer 
that makes the rain cry. 
People dis- appear, but they never really go away. 
The spirits up there put the sun to bed, 
wake up grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. 
Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during 
the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. 
They paint the rain-bows and also the sunsets and make  
waves splash and tug at the tide. 
They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes.
And then they sing wind-songs,
They whisper to us, don't miss me to much 
The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.


Sandy, you and I became fast and lasting friends on Pogo.  We bonded over our 'law enforcement' family members and remained friends ever since.  You were such a comfort to me when I was caring for my elderly Mother and the advice you & Richard gave me regarding Veteran's benefits was invaluable.  Rest well my friend.  May you and Richard spend eternity together in each other's loving arms knowing that we all will miss you always.  My deepest sympathies to your loving family and THANK YOU Shelly for keeping your three year promise!  My prayers are with you.

I remember the many card games of pinnocle and spades we shared on pogo. We shared lots of laughs over the years.  RIP Sandy and you are once again with your beloved Rich.

Our deepest condolences to the family on the loss of their mother and grandmother.   I knew OC for many years in pogo and we shared many hardships that she went through.   Hospital stays and the loss of her very beloved husband Rich.    She sent me pictures of both her and Rich in their younger days and I always joked lucky I didn't see him first.  He was so handsome and she was a knockout standing on the beach.  It was okay she paid me back, she was the only woman on pogo that every got my husband David into Private Chat.   I know in my heart that OC is where she wants to be with the love of her life.
Once again they are young and holding hands walking that beach.
Our sincere sympathy to the family she spoke of with pride so often, I felt like I knew you.  May you be happy through the tears of sorrow knowing they are together.  David & Linda (Jaz)

I was saddened when I heard that OC had passed. She was a very caring and loving person. I met her online shortly after my son passed, and she was so encouraging to me. She always made me laugh with her sense of humor. Many times she would talk about her family and you could sense the love that she had for them. RIP OC, and dance in the arms of your beloved husband.

I was really shocked to hear of OC's passing.  I wasn't ready for it.  I only knew OC in Pogo  for a bit over a year but saw a warm kind hearted woman  who was suffering a lot.  She always was interesting and interested in her friends' lives.  She spoke of Richard all the time and missed him greatly.  Sandy, you are now united with Richard and can celebrate your 60th Anniversary for eternity.  

What can I say about OC that no 1 has all ready said, She was just a fun loving woman that loved 2 have a good time. Sandy will be missed from the real world & from the pogo world, BUT she is with her hubby now no more pain and we all have us a wonderfull Angel watching over us.


Sandy,  my dear online friend...when I look at the amazing pictures of your life through the years I see the kind and very beautiful woman I always knew you were.   It was a great pleasure having you as a friend and I will miss you.  I know you are finally home now with Richard.

I knew Sandy online she was a good friend who listened well.   She also had a great sense of humour.  She also was proud of her family.  When I talked to her she never failed to regale me with the pride she felt for her "littles" as she called her grands, lol.  I am very sad for Sandy's family and friends we are left to miss her humour and her great advice giving.  When a few days have passed I will be able to smile at my memories of her, and remember that she is with the love of her life again.   I am sure they are dancing cheek to cheek in heaven.
