Survived by his wife, Rhoda; children, Brad (Loretta), Wayne (Leslie), Amy (Martin Linker), Dean (Linda); brother, Eugene (Beatrice); 7 grandchildren, several other relatives: nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
An engineer, Robert was credited with numerous patents including equipment used at the NY Times, optical imaging apparatus for the U2 spy plane, and several other award-winning projects.
A private Memorial Service was held on Friday, June 17, 2016, a mere 7 days before his 65th wedding anniversary.
