Loretta B. Francioli

Loretta B. Francioli “Rhett”, 96, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2023. Rhett was an incredibly kind person who loved life and was devoted to her late husband, Henry, and her entire family. Of all of life’s treasures, people were her favorite, especially her family and friends.

That love showed itself through her generosity. She was generous with her time and always cared for others before taking care of herself.

Loretta didn’t care much for worldly treasures. The treasures she held dearly were the memories she made with her grandchildren, especially in Ocean City.

Up until the end, her love of coffee and sour cream donuts was strong; we like to think that had to do with her growing up in her father’s bakery.

Loretta was the loving wife of the late Henry J. Francioli; beloved mother of Dennis W. Francioli and his wife Sharon, and Carl H. Francioli and his wife Mary, and the late Linda S. Fuchs; mother-in-law of Joseph Fuchs; dear sister of the late Jean Brulinski, John Gesina, Agnes Panowicz, Richard Gesina, Dorothy Tsaousakis, and Theresa Schatzschneider; cherished grandmother of Lauren Francioli, Shelby Francioli, Lizzie Francioli, Abby Francioli, and Michael Fuchs and his wife Ashley; great grandmother of Savannah Fuchs.

The family will receive friends at the Chapel of Stella Maris, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Monday, October 2 from 10am to 11am at which time a Mass will be celebrated at 11am. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in Mrs. Loretta’s memory to American Cancer Society, 405 Williams Court, Suite 120, Baltimore, Maryland 21220 and/or Stella Maris, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093.
