On December 7, 2012 Joseph J. Gunning, 68; loving husband of Dolores “Lori” Gunning; beloved father of Sarah E. Schell and her husband Ritchie; cherished Grandfather of Riar and Rowan Schell; devoted brother of Marguerite M. Phelps, Mary E. Hartman, Ann L Haire, Kathleen Arle, Paul W., Thomas G. and Francis X. Gunning and the late Barbara M. Buchman; dear brother-in-law of Joan S., Joan G. and Geraldine Gunning, Jeanne Byrnes and George Willinger and the late Samuel Phelps, Paul B. Hartman, Edward Haire, George Buchman, David Arle and Patricia Arthur; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier, 13717 Cuba Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21030 on Thursday, December 13 at 10AM.
