On March 16, 2015 Ret. Col. John M. Porter, 93; loving husband of the late Shirley Harrison Porter; beloved brother of Margaret Parenti, Elinore Herriman and the late George Porter and Kathleen Peters; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM with a Masonic service at 7:30PM . A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, March 21 at 11:30am. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be directed in John’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 5050 King Ave., Baltimore, MD 21237 and/or Mays Chapel United Methodist Church, 11911 Jenifer Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
