Joan Patricia Anderson

It is with great sympathy that we announce the passing of Joan Patricia Anderson, on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Joan was a selfless, loving and giving woman. She was always festive, making the holidays special. She would dress up as Santa for her Grandchildren and decorate the house beautifully for Christmas. Joan was born on June 25,1938 in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended Seaton High and graduated in 1957. She married Walter John Anderson in 1958. They were married for 64 years. Joan started her career as a nutritionist at the Masonic Home, where she worked for 14 years.

She then worked at Giant Pharmacy Hunt Valley for 32 Years. All loved here there. People would often stop in to see her that didn't have a prescription. When she retired, she dedicated the rest of her life to spending time and spoiling and loving her nine Grandchildren and Husband Walter. Joan is survived by her loving husband Walter John Anderson ; children Dale Anderson,Christopher Anderson and his wife Lisa,Michelle Crum and her husband Wilson,Katherine Manucci and her husband Gianni, and Jennifer Horton; grandchildren Asher,Isabel,Matthew, Alex, Sage,and Sophia and brothers William Herbert, John Herbert as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

She is predeceased by her siblings late Mary Elizabeth Cary, Katherine Trumps,Charles Herbert, James Herbert, Ruth Ann Button and Phillip Herbert.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Wednesday, October 19,2022 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 100 Church Lane, Cockeysville,Maryland 21030, on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10am.

Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
