Frank Brewer Steele, 84, resident of Phoenix, Maryland and Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on August 4, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Frank was born and raised in Bordentown, New Jersey and moved to Phoenix, Maryland where he raised his family. Frank was a self-made successful businessman. Most importantly, he was a committed and supportive family man who always put his family first. He was an Executive with United Container Machinery, in Glen Arm, Maryland. Outside of work, Frank was an avid sportsman and loved duck hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and tennis.
Frank is survived by his wife, Barbara Steele; two sons, Timothy (wife Maura) Steele and Shannon Steele; grandchildren, Lynsey Sisson Steele, Jessica Steele, Brendan Steele, and Ryan Steele and brother Edward Sheedy. Frank is preceded in death by his mother Emma Sheedy and his father Lawrence Steele.
All are invited to join the family in celebrating Frank’s life on Saturday, August 20th, 2016. Family will receive guests from 2:30pm-3:30pm, until the start of a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 3:30pm. Services will take place at Lemmon Funeral Home, 10 W Padonia Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093.
