She was predeceased by her husband Herbert Rogers, Jr. She was the loving mother of Sharon L. Smith and husband Steve, Carol L. Stocksdale and husband Bart, Joyce M. Strueber and husband Frank; loving grandmother of Michelle Kokosinski, Laura Young, Kristin Welch, Brian Stocksdale, Alden Strueber, Farrell Strueber and Andrea Smith; also loving great grandmother of Zachary Kokosinski, Jacob Kokosinski, Cora Young, Tessa Young and Zoey Stocksdale.
Mrs. Rogers was a loving sister-in-law to Angela Burgan and Joseph Rogers both of whom survive her. She was also a loving sister-in-law to Patricia Elsnic and loving sister to her brother Henry Elsnic who both predeceased Doris. Mrs. Rogers is also predeceased by her parents Gabriella Elsnic (née Neumann) and Frank Elsnic.
Doris Rogers made it her life's work to ensure that all of her family was loved and well cared for - she was successful in making each one of us feel valued as an individual.
Mrs. Rogers will be interred at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery in a small private ceremony. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
