As the wife of Darrell Robinson for over 28 years, I still remember him in my heart, in my mind and being. One thing he always said is to cut one once measure twice. My daughter and I will always remember him as fierce, powerful and nonrelenting in his law practice. He gave his all to his clients and never wavering in providing the best representation to his clients. He gave it his all. I miss and will always love him no matter what. Wow This is unbelievable.  My deepest condolences.  Mr. Robinson was a patient of ours and was always so funny and on the move! He would arrive late and then rush his visit. LOL! He always had a good story to tell and I think he knew he had our favor cause he was our only patient we would let come thru at 4:30 knowing his arrival was 4pm. He was always humble tho! I looked forward to hearing what adventure he and his significant other would be indulging in or have enjoyed cause his stories were so detailed and funny! Mr. Robinson you will Truly be missed! I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Robinson he was my attorney after my accident and in that small time I came to like him as my lawyer and just as a all around good person. My heart goes out to you.  I just found out today November 16, 2022  about the passing of such a magnificent person.  We had long talks some evenings about patients that I referred to him and that he was referring to me.  He will truly be missed.  I was in such an awe.  I was doing what we regularly do and that was referring a patient to him and that was how I found out.  He used to talk about his daughter all the time.  She also has my deepest condolences.  I know what it is like to lose a father and a loved one.  If there is anything that I can do please reach out and contact me. I just learned of Darrell’s passing and am at a loss.  I just don’t know how to process this. 

Darrell was one of my closest friends.  We attended law school together and grow very close.   He wanted us to take a trip and I just didn’t make the time.  

I was so proud at his success. 

 We continued to push and support each other with a fundamental belief that it’s never too late and that anything is possible.

I just found out today 10/13/2022, that my Attorney/best friend had gone on to be with the Lord, my condolences goes out to the family and friends of Mr.Robertson he will be truly missed. I reflect back on the personal conversation that we use to have, and when ever things bothered him he would come to the house and we would ride, and I would let him vent.

You always told me that our child would do great things. You even told me on that Thursday that if I would have come back today or tomorrow that you would welcome me back with open arms no questions asked. I could not do that. What I did tell you was that I will pray for you and anything you needed please just call me and I would be there. No one knew of our connection but our daughter. I will always love you. I will always know that you provided for us financially. I will always know after 30 years that you wanted me back but for my peace of mind I could not say yes. You are so loved Drob. You will forever be in my heart. Knowing you wanted me back fills my heart with sadness and with joy. Rest now my love. You will forever be a part of me.

I was so surprised and hurt to hear of your passing!  Remembering our chance meeting in Staples where I learned you’d just started your private practice and that you were looking for a paralegal/legal assistant. It was by chance that we met and that I was looking for a part-time opportunity on my day off.  Having been a paralegal for over 20 years, you gave me an opportunity to learn a new area of law. Although you told me that you couldn’t pay me my worth, I was so appreciative to become your first employee! Your knowledge and words of wisdom will be cherished forever. I will never forget your last words to me a few weeks ago, “Macia, I appreciate you.” Thank you for your mentoring and friendship! Rest in heavenly peace Darrell!!!

I still can't believe this Mr Robinson 😭we spoke some few weeks ago ,I have been trying to reach you only to be told today you are no more. I got to know you when you came to Ghana recently , you thought me the can do spirit.I don't know how to say this but may God keep your soul in his bosom till we meet again .

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family.  I am so shocked and hurt over the news!  Darrell has been a great source of comfort to me during  a very stressful period in my life.  We spent hours on the phone sharing such interesting stories while shaking the stress off from a challenging day.  Darrell was so proud of all that he was able to accomplish having beat the odds from his upbringing.   I always shared how proud I was of his accomplishments as well and encouraged him to keep pushing.  I was happy when he was able to go and visit Africa...destressing...relaxing! I hoped that would help him.  Im so sad and confused about his passing.  How grateful for the hope of the resurrection that is held out in Rev 21:3,4....and death will be nor more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain.

I am so sorry to hear about his passing and hope that his family will find peace knowing that he was a great member of society. My sincere condolences to all.

Darrell and I started our law careers together, first as law clerks and then as Assistant Public Defenders.  Darrell’s passion was unprecedented and as our careers evolved, I always looked forward to our chats, whether on the phone or in the halls of a courthouse.  A true friend is one who makes you feel like you just saw each other yesterday.  Darrell made everyone feel that way.   I will miss you my friend.

We're extremely baffled and astounded for this sudden demise of a true pan Africanist, a father, mentor, friend and an Attorney of such reputable candor. Lawyer, as I always called you: little did I know your maiden visit to Ghana was your last moments on this planet. As I kept reminiscing the good, ecstatic and frenzied atmosphere you cherished and adored yourself having taking such a trip to your ancestral home and even your visit to the cape coast castle was a blissful moment  to attest to where you and your family have emanated from during the era of slavery. I'm glad you took the bull by the horn by visiting Ghana.

Whatever the mystery is about surrounding this sudden demise and departure remains to be unraveled. There will surely be light at the end of the tunnel. All your clients and friends especially those of us from the Ghanaian fraternity are still in a deep shock and we don't believe you're gone but we shall definitely meet again in the bosom of God.

Mr. Robinson was a warm presence who was always prepared and a great advocate for his clients.  It was always special to chat with him and have him appear before me at the Prince George’s County Circuit Court.  He will be missed.

Darrell was my friend who turned into my brother. I pray that God cover his family during this trying times.

We were Darrell's neighbors for over 11 years. We shared so many great conversations over the fence about topics ranging from politics to gardening and how to kill weeds. We sincerely wish we had had one more conversation with him. We will miss seeing him coming and going, waving and calling out our names. And we'll miss that big smile. He was such a presence in the neighborhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Darrell's friends and family.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was, when we departed, we said, I love you to each other. If you love someone, let them know that every day!
