Wendy Doreen Martin

Wendy passed away surrounded by her loved ones while the sweet tones of Barbra Streisand played in the background. Wendy was diagnosed with guillain-barré syndrome in October of 2022 and passed suddenly due to complications with the disease. Wendy was very loved and always had a smile for everyone around her. She was fond of gardening, always wanted to know about your day, loved wandering a craft fair, spending time with those she loved and playing tea party with her grandchild. Wendy leaves behind her children Amanda Martin, Melody and Andrew Goad, her granddaughter Elsinore Goad, her dearest friend and confidant Susan Matsumoto and countless friends and family members near and dear to her heart.

Her ashes, along with her beloved departed Mother, Lorraine Shaw, will be spread to the tune of bagpipes. No formal ceremony will be held at this time, but a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
