Roger Allen Williams, most recently of Sherwood, Oregon passed away on May 14th, 2024 at age 82. Roger was born in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Billings Senior High School in Billings, Montana. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a jet mechanic and sergeant of the guard. He often spoke with pride regarding serving as the sergeant of the guard and the attention to detail and duty it required. After his service, he worked as a truck driver for many years in the Portland area. He enjoyed coaching his children’s softball and baseball teams and was part of bowling leagues in the Portland area for years. He is survived by two daughters, Kristin Williams and Wendy Zimmerman, two sons, Jeffrey Williams and Doug Zimmerman, his brother Terry (Debby) Williams and two sisters, Anita (Mike) Donivan and Betty (David) Raab. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery on a date to be determined.
