I remember when we Dennis and Evelyn first came to Tigard Assembly of God as it was once called Kim was the first one to talk with us and actually sat with her and Rob and family and gave us a very warm welcome they happened to have a Potluck right after service that first Sunday. That helped make the decision to make this our church home much easier she and Rob were so friendly.  I later joined the Praise team they both were in and found out how beautiful her voice was and later I was so blessed to sing a duet with and I was pretty terrified due to how wonderful and Soloist she was it was intimidating but she made me feel at ease.  I will miss her wonderful smile and beautiful voice.  I am thankful for Rob and the fact we still keep our relationship going and get a round of golf in as well which I often worried I was taking Rob away from Kim to often.  Looking forward in the great reunion above.

Kim, Rob, and I quickly became dear friends when they became my very first clients in my new business over a decade and a half ago. Over the years, Kim and I spent countless hours together driving around, sharing laughter and making memories. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered, not just with her outer beauty, but with her radiant spirit and deep, genuine love for others.  

Her faith in God, her unwavering love for Rob(bie) and her children, and her kindness to everyone she met were truly inspiring. And of course, there was Birdie—who, despite my usual luck with dogs, never failed to bark at me! Kim would just laugh and say, "That’s just her."  

I will always be grateful for the friendship my family and I shared—and will continue to share—with hers. Kim’s light will never fade in our hearts.  

Godspeed, beautiful Kim. You are deeply missed. 💙

Kim joined our group of friends in junior high and stayed with us throughout high school. In junior high her family lived adjacent to the football field at Twality and so we would go to her house for lunch. She was always into makeup and making everyone look beautiful as well as herself. I met Kim when we became Pastors at Tigard Assembly.. Kim was 15 years old!   I had 3 young children and Kim would often come over to help with the kids or just hang out.  I was  always amazed with her maturity not only in the things of God but just in general.  She brought sunshine , life and laughter every time she showed up.  One day she showed me her description of the man she told God she was looking for and would wait for God to send him to her.  She then said when he does I want you to be a bridesmaid.. I said. WHAT.). Kim I’m too  old to be your bridesmaid!!  But don’t you know that God sent her Rob who fit the description and sure enough I was a bridesmaid.  Kim was beautiful, kind, fun and a pleasure always to be with.  There will always be an ache in my heart for the loss of her beautiful self.  She will be greatly missed. My dad pastored Tigard Assembly of God from  1975-1983.  Kim thought the world of my Mom and Dad and us kids and we felt the same.  I was traveling overseas when I found out Kim had passed and talked with my family immediately.  She was the biggest light and impacted our lives in so many ways.  She lit up a room wherever she was with her love and kindness, her laughter and humor has stayed with us all these years.  Kim and her family  deeply impacted us and our whole family is heartbroken by her passing.  She will always be a part of our family. We know we will met again. Sending her whole family our love and prayers.

Kim was a very special person to our family.  So many memories from the time she was a young girl.. Church family, neighbor, friend.  We will miss her smile and sense of humor. And we will miss hearing her sing, especially Holy Ground (Curt's favorite).
Our hearts break for all of you, and please know that we love you and you're in our prayers.

Oh how I loved you from the day you were born!  Such fun road trips, weekends in Rainier watching WWE and (maybe a little dancing); family holidays, summers, church, watching all three of your babies for a weekend …too many memories to count.  Even when we didn’t see each other for extended times, nothing changed! Thank you for your love.

You were a sister cousin.  Your life was a blessing and your memory a cherished treasure.   Rejoicing with you as you rest in the arms of Jesus.
