Kay Francis Lewin, 86, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, passed away on July 2, 2023. Born on March 28, 1937, in Tacoma, Washington, Kay was a loving wife, mother, and a wonderful friend. She was a woman of many talents and interests, and her vibrant personality touched the lives of those around her.
Kay had a creative spirit and a passion for the arts. She found joy in painting, drawing, and coloring books, always exploring her artistic side. Inspired by the Food Network, Kay loved to experiment in the kitchen and create delicious meals for her loved ones. Her well-curated apartment at the Mercado Grove was a testament to her love for interior design, and she took great pride in her collection of unique and fascinating lamps.
One of Kay's favorite pastimes was visiting the beach, where she found solace in the crashing waves and the beauty of the coast. She was thrilled by the storms rolling in, finding them exhilarating. Kay also enjoyed shopping along the boardwalks, discovering treasures and creating lasting memories.
Kay had a deep affection for her furry companions, Lucy the dog and Freddie the tabby cat. She cherished their companionship and showered them with love throughout their lives.
A memorial service will be held at Young's Funeral Home, 11831 SW Pacific Hwy, Tigard, OR 97223, on July 14th at 12:30 PM.
A celebration of Kay's life will follow at 2:00 PM in the Whiskey Room at The Mercato Grove, 4055 Mercantile Drive, Lake Oswego, OR 97035.
