Eileen Eleanor Freeman passed away peacefully January 7th, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family, she was 88. Eileen was born December 6th, 1922 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Charles and Laura McKnight, she was the youngest of three sisters. Eileen spent the rest of her youth in Albion, Nebraska. She married Eugene Freeman on March 3rd, 1945 and because of his military service they traveled and lived all over the world. She collected antiques, loved to play bridge, sang with the Sweet Adeline’s Chorus and was the bell ringer for her church. Eileen was a lovely Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and friend to many. She leaves behind her two sons; Dennis (LingLing) Anchorage, AK , Doug (Kay) LaCenter, WA, a sister Rosemary, Long Beach, WA, special nieces, Cindy Stivers (Jim) Colorado Springs, Kathleen Arsenaux Long Beach, WA five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene. We wish to thank Hospice and caregivers Rachael & Susan who took wonderful care of our Mother.
