Dorothy Elizabeth Summers Coburn

At the age of four, she moved to her grandparents farm in the North Howell District east of Brooks, Oregon, where she spent her childhood and graduated from Gervais High School.

She lived in Woodburn for a short time, then moved to Portland where she married Russell Coburn. In 1948

they moved to Tillamook where they lived for the next 49 years, Russell passed away in 1990.

In 1997 she moved to the Tigard area.

Dorothy passed away on April 1, 2011 in Tigard, Oregon

She is survived by one son, Monte Coburn of Portland, and two daughters, Janice Aiken of Woodburn and

Esther Adams of Salem. Her husband Russell Coburn, one daughter Elaine Riedel ,one grandson Aaron Coburn and sister Ida Mary Nosack preceded her in death. She is also survived by ten grandchildren ,fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be at Young’s Funeral Home Thursday April 7, 2011 12-5pm with a Committal Service to be held at Willamette National Cemetery April 8, 2011 10:30am.
