She was special. She gathered us together as a family and fashioned holiday feasts. Our favorite memories are of us all standing around the kitchen taking in the aroma and display of a home-cooked holiday feast, the meal that has been prepared with love. Standing beside her, helping her with every meal, was my stepfather Fred.
She loved to create rugs, furniture, and colorful quilts. These things she gave to us made our world. We felt love that only a mother could provide.
The garden was such a joy, every day.
Our mother and Fred loved the outdoors. They would spend time fishing and camping at various lakes in Oregon. Our fondest memories are of the camping trips we took together.
Retired from GTE and enjoyed their retirement - miss them both.
Please sign the guest book and share your memories. Ashes from Mom and Fred will be mingled together. They wished to be in a lake somewhere.
