For a year and a half Bill fought his cancer like a warrior. Never giving up, staying positive and hopeful. He continued to try many clinical trials and treatments.
Bill continued to work as a Division Commander with the Thornton Police Department. He has celebrated 30 years in law enforcement.
During his cancer journey, he remained active in duck hunting, fishing, camping, ATV riding and going to elk camp. No matter how sick he was, he still pushed forward and never quit.
Bill was blessed to have an amazing extended family to include Rex&Sandy Salsby of Wheatridge, Steve & Carla Harbert of Firestone, Kingo & Betty Blacker of Tampa, Fl. Dennis & Darlene Mauser of Thornton and many other close family friends.
His dedication and leadership will never be forgotten in the Thornton Police Department. His legacy will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 11am at Rocky Mountain Christian Church, 5860 Majestic St. Frederick,Co. 80504
