Tyler “Ty” Wade Henshaw, beloved husband, father, brother, son, and grandson, left this world faster than he came into it. Tyler passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2023, in Henderson, Colorado, surrounded by some of the dearest friends a man could ask for. He was 31 years old. Tyler’s untimely death leaves his family and friends deeply saddened and shocked.
He was born September 2, 1991, in Denver, Colorado, to Travis and Karen (Stiritz) Henshaw. While Tyler resisted his arrival on that September day, he lived his life to the fullest.
Tyler was a strong willed and determined man. He graduated from Job Corps in Washington State in 2010. He then went on to obtain his degree in Auto and Diesel Mechanics at Lincoln Technical College in Denver, Colorado. He was a skilled and talented tow truck operator, mechanic, heavy equipment hauler. It was through this work that Tyler gained valuable knowledge and encountered many life experiences.
Tyler had an enormous heart and witty sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. Tyler was a mentor to friends, colleagues, and young family members. Family and friends were extremely important in his life.
Tyler met the love of his life, Breanna Fischer-Carelli in 2016 while working for APT Towing. He was fiercely in love with her and would have done anything to make her happy. Breanna was the one that matched his strong will, work ethic and passions. He gained a stepson in Michael Fischer-Carelli. It thrilled Ty to share his knowledge of towing and teaching Michael to fish. His family was his absolute pride and joy and, in turn, Tyler meant more to his family that he could ever understand. He loved being amongst his family and friends. They were extremely important in his life.
Tyler had many passions including camping, boating, fishing, and 4-wheeling in his jeep. During the fall you could find Tyler watching his favorite football team and watching NASCAR.
Tyler is survived by his wife Breanna Fischer- Carelli of Keenesburg, CO; sons, Madden Henshaw of Monroe, WA and Michael Fischer- Carelli of Keenesburg; parents, Karen Stiritz of Renton, WA and Travis Henshaw of Broomfield, CO; brother, Kody Pickering of Evans, CO; aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, his work families at APT Towing and Den Towing, and many caring friends.
Tyler was the kindest and most thoughtful person. He was a creative man with a witty sense of humor and a heart that could not be matched. He was caring and always willing to help or mentor anyone in need. There are no words to describe how much Tyler will be missed by friends and family. There is a tremendous hole that cannot be filled. Tyler will be remembered for the love he shared with all. He will be missed dearly.
We will always love and miss you. Until we meet again...
