August 30, 1961 - July 13, 2024
Tracy Lynn Hess, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2024, in Thornton, Colorado, due to health complications. She was 62 years old.
Born on August 30, 1961, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Tracy was the daughter of the late Nile and Janet Keesey. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Daniel and Thomas Keesey, as well as her cherished grandson, Tyrian Michael Mann.
Tracy is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Michael Hess, her two daughters, Amber Reeb and Sara Mann, and her two granddaughters, Serenity and River. Her grandchildren were the absolute light of her life, and she reveled in every moment spent with them.
Throughout her life, Tracy found great joy in the simple pleasures. She loved watching sports, rooting for her favorite teams and competing in fantasy leagues. During her high school years Tracy was very active in sports. She played volleyball and was even lettered in basketball.
Tracy cherished every family camping trip and found great pleasure in fishing. Her green thumb was on full display in her beautiful garden, and she delighted in sharing her harvest with loved ones. One of Tracy's favorite pastimes was gambling with her husband of four decades - the two would often take trips to the casino, where they would try their luck and enjoy each other's company.
One of Tracy's most treasured memories was a family trip to Disneyland, where she and her loved ones created magical memories that would last a lifetime. Even in her final years, when health challenges began to limit her mobility, Tracy maintained an unwavering positive attitude and continued to find ways to enjoy the activities she loved. One of those ways was when she discovered a passion for playing Animal Crossing, where she could indulge in her creativity and connect with her granddaughter in a virtual world.
Tracy's unwavering dedication to her family and her resilient spirit in the face of adversity will forever inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, laughter, and cherished traditions that will continue to bring her family together for generations to come.
