Rudolph Wesley Parks the son of Tom & Mattie Parks was born in Henryetta OK on Monday November 6th, 1922
and died on Tuesday May 30th, 2017 at the Villa's at Sunny Acres in Thornton, Colorado
Rudy grew up in the central OK area. He went to school in a one room school house.
Rudy was united in marriage to Audrey Price on Sept. 24, 1942 and to this union were born two girls Shirley Ray and Sharen Kaye.
Following their marriage they resided in OK then moved to Derby Colorado in 1951.
They divorced and Rudy married Delores Brauer of Commerce City, they both preceded Rudy in death. Delores has three children Leroy, Kenneth
and LaVonn.
Rudy was in WWII in the Army the Hell on Wheels 2nd Armored tank division.
Rudy worked at Fitz Simmons Army Hospital as a cabinet maker. He retired after 25 years. Rudy was a Square dance caller all over the State of Colorado. Rudy instructed
at the Adams County Recreation Center teaching square dance and round dancing. Square dancing and fishing were his greatest joys.
He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where he served on the board an in numerous jobs at the church.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his daughters Shirley Race of Waukesha Wisconsin and Sharen Sanders and John Bauer from Selma North Carolina.
He has two grandchildren Sheri and Steven and two great grandchildren Rebecca and Colin. Along with
Leroy of Commerce City CO, Kenneth from California, LaVonn from California and many grand and great grandchildren.
