Rocco Michael Labriola, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home with his wife and daughters by his side on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, in Brighton, Colorado.
Rocco was born on January 26th, 1931. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Angelo Labriola and Theresa (Marchese) Labriola and his sister Mary (Labriola) Balzano.
Rocco attended high school at North Denver High. In his Junior year he decided school wasn’t for him. Rocco, along with his dad and grandfather starting building the first detail/paint shop in Denver. Rocco built his business from the ground up (literally). When the business started, he charged $9.00 for a complete detail.
Rocco's family was most important in his life. He never went anywhere without his wife and daughters. His passion was detailing cars and running the buffer. His vacations always involved boats and camping with his family and friends. Rocco had a love for cars, boats, trucks. Throughout his life he owned many of these.
Rocco is survived by his wife, Glenora (Slavic) Labriola who he referred to as his “Angel”; his loving daughters, Liana (Mick Ward- his amazing son-in-law) and Trisha; his 3 grandchildren, Cody Pahach, Ashley Ortega, Tiffany Kaminskas, and several great grandchildren.
Viewing is 4pm to 6pm, Tuesday, October 17th at Olinger Highland Funeral Home, 10201 Grant Street in Thornton. Rosary Prayers will be recited at 9:30 Wednesday morning, October 18th, with a Catholic Rite at 10am, also at Olinger Highland Funeral Home. A Reception will be held at Olinger Highland Funeral Home from 11-1:00pm. Entombment services will be at 2pm, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge.
