PETERS, Robert Roy, 82, of Thornton, CO, passed away February 11, 2020. Born in Garden City, KS, he was a Tax Accountant having owned "Rob Roy Tax & Accounting." Mr. Peters was a member of First Christian Church, a veteran of the United States Air Force, member of the Westminster Elks, loved travel and photographing wildlife and national parks. He is predeceased by his father Woodrow Peters of Garden City, KS, mother Vella Funk of Springfield, CO, older brother Jerry Newcomb of Springfield, VA and is survived by his wife Patricia Sove Parsons Peters, brother Douglas Peters (Kim) of Garden City, KS, sisters Sherian Emigh (Leigh) of Flower Mound, TX, Connie Nichols (Chet) of Branson, MO. A memorial service will take place Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at Olinger Highland Funeral Home, Inurnment into Olinger Highland Cemetery and a reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
