Richard Lee Hoffman was born Nov. 26, 1933, to Raymond and Elsie (Guemar) Hoffman in Loveland, CO. He married Linda Kemp Nov. 28, 1954. They built a house and settled just west of Brighton and raised their five children - Calvin, Steve, Stan, Lori, and John.
Rich owned and operated a family construction business for many years. He loved to travel and took Linda and the grandkids all over in their motorhome. He would disappear from the group on trips and could be found looking at construction equipment or the structure of a building. He was a jokester and had the best laugh.
Rich passed away Nov. 11 surrounded by family just two weeks shy of his 90th birthday. Rich has been released from his broken body and mind and is alive — fully cognizant, free of Dementia — with Jesus and we are grateful! His beloved wife Linda, his parents; his sister Marlene (Ray) Curtis; his brother Clifford (Joan) Hoffman; brother in-laws, Jack Kemp and Rollie Grannon, two of his sons, Calvin and John; preceded him in death. Survivors include his sister, Myrna Grannon of Ault, sons Steve Hoffman of Northglenn and Stan (Judy) Hoffman, of Northglenn; a daughter, Lori (Larry) Morgan of Hudson; his grandchildren, Becky, Nichole, Callie, JW, Richard, Miranda, Lainie, Brett, Haley, Katie, Greg, Amanda, Melissa, Tim, and Tom and; numerous great and great- great grandchildren.
