Ralph was born June 5th 1938 in Herman Nebraska. He is the son of Ralph and (Dora) Mardelle Scarlett.
Ralph was raised in Commerce City Colorado, and attended school there. He Graduated from Adams City High School in 1955.
Ralph then joined the Navy and Served for 4 yrs. He served on the Naval ship, USS Midway for most of his Military time. The Ship was in the Blue Waters by Vietnam. The Blue Waters were filled with Agent Orange where he was exposed to it. He was Discharged from Active Duty, and served Inactive Duty May 29th, 1959. He was required to serve in the Naval Reserve until August 18th 1961.
After being released from the Military, He started driving Trucks for various companies, including Denver Brick, Hausman Steel and Western Paving.
Ralph married Karen Witt and raised the Family in Commerce City, Co.
Ralph is Survived by his children, Randy Scarlett and wife Susan Scarlett, Wanda Bell and Husband Jeff Bell, and William Scarlett and Wife Sandy Scarlett, 10 Grand Children, and 13 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death, by his parents, his wife, Karen Scarlett.
A visitation for Ralph will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Olinger Eastlawn Cemetery, 19600 East Smith Road, Aurora, CO 80011.
