Patrick was born in Boulder, Colorado on June 18, 1992. He lived in Broomfield for the entirety of his life. He attended Maranatha Christian Center and Holy Family High School, where he excelled academically and socially. He attended the University of Colorado-Boulder and graduated with a degree in Political Science. He always enjoyed intense political and social conversations.
He loved skateboarding, snowboarding and rugby. Patrick dearly loved his cats, Jenny and Big Larry. He excelled in taking care of animals and had a crazy fondness for sloths. His perfect day was snowboarding in the mountains with family and friends followed by a good meal and conversation, often sharing new thoughts, videos and songs he found.
He had many friends and was known for his ability to converse with anyone about anything. He devoured the written word, was extremely intelligent and had the ability to read and recollect anything and everything. He was known for his warm, engaging and thoughtful personality.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Jim and Denise, his brother Liam, sister-in-law Tori, and best friend Michael Mendell. He had a very large family of 18 aunts and uncles and a vast number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Pat O’Connor and Bill and Irene Miller of Nebraska.
