Olivia Eleanor Rivera

Olivia Eleanor Rivera, of Federal Heights, CO, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away April 4, 2023. She was 56 years old. Olivia was born on August 7, 1956 in Prescott, Arizona to the late Lebyna and Reymundo Rivera.

Olivia grew up in Prescott and later moved to Gilman, Colorado. She met and married Joe Gomez. Olivia and Joe were blessed with three children, Joseph,Gary, and Annette. Olivia loved to be a homemaker. She loved and enjoyed making candy and nick nacks for her home.

Olivia is survived by a host of family members including her Devoted Husband, Jose Reyes Igareda; children, Gary Gomez of Salt Lake City, Utah and Annette (Simon) Villapando; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; siblings, Bob (Joann) Rivera of Gypsum, Colorado, Bart Rivera of Leadville, Colorado, Elizabeth (Jason) of Leadville, Colorado, Matthew Rivera of Leadville, Colorado, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Olivia is preceded in death of her son, Joseph Gomez and brother, Alfred Rivera.

A private burial will take place at the Vigil Cemetery in Chacon, New Mexico.
