He was born on June 27, 1985 with his twin brother in Denver, Colorado to Mauricio Jr. and Carolyn.
Matthew had an enormous heart and a contagious laughter that had everyone around him rolling with laughter. Matthew would give you the shirt off his back to help others and not think twice.
As a child he played in many sports, baseball, football, and wrestling. He also helped his dad coach little league baseball for Jordan’s team. Matthew was an avid Denver Broncos, Avalanche, and Nuggets fan. He will be missed by his coworkers at Chili Hills and Roadway in NM.
Survived by Mauricio "Moe" Montoya Jr. and Carolyn (Rivera) Montoya, twin brother of Mauricio III, and Jordan Montoya.
Uncle of Mauricio Montoya IV, Angelo, Ellie, Luke, and Kaizen.
Also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and other relatives, and friends.
