She was one of seven siblings. Deceased siblings are Frank, Steve, Joe and Gilbert . She has two surviving brothers Richard and Audencio (Sonny) Lanford.
She was united in holy matrimony in 1960 to Andrew Hernandez Vera (deceased) Their union was blessed with five children. Andrea, Larry, Gregory, Andrew Jr and Bernadette seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary Ann lived a very active social life. She loved to travel and dance. she was a generous kind giving soul. Her family meant the world to her. She loved camping and fishing with her family. She loved shopping, getting her hair and nails done, going to bingo and up the hill, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She was always so bright and full of life. Her presence will be sorely missed as she was loved by many.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held Friday March 1, 2019 at 10am followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30am. Both at Holy Cross Catholic Church 9371 Wigham St. Thornton, Colorado. Committal services for both Mary Ann and Andrew’s ashes are being held at Elmwood cemetery in Brighton, Colorado 14800 Old Brighton Rd 80601 following the Memorial Mass. A reception will be at Holy Cross Church same address as above immediately after Committal Services.
