Mary Lee (Walters) Daigle, age 85, of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 in Denver, Colorado. Mary was born on April 4, 1938 to Vernon and Helen Walters in Denver, Colorado. Mary was one of three children, having one brother, Jim and a sister Karen. Mary attended schools in the Denver area and graduated from Adams City High School in 1956.
Mary married Ira P. Daigle in 1962, together they raised six sons, Gene, Chris, Tom, Don, Mike and Doug. Mary cherished her 15 grandchildren and their families. She also had a special relationship with her nieces, Kim and Nikki.
Mary was employed by Mountain Bell/US West in several roles. She retired from US West as an Engineering Specialist. Mary was also an Avon representative in the Fort Lupton area.
Mary enjoyed traveling and creating memories with her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, ceramics, oil painting and reading. Along with her husband they enjoyed antiques and collectibles. Mary was a strong and courageous woman. She will be remembered as a loving, caring and generous person to all that knew her.
Mary is survived by her sons, Gene, Chris, Tom, Don, Mike and Doug, 15 Grandchildren, many Great-grandchildren and a Great-great-grandchild, her sister Karen and brother Jim along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Ira P. Daigle in 2021.

A visitation beginning at 9:00am followed by the funeral service starting at 10:00am for Mary will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Olinger Highland Mortuary, located at 10201 Grant St, in Thornton, Colorado. A committal service will occur immediately following the funeral at Evergreen Cemetery, located at 200 E 168th Ave, in Broomfield, Colorado.
