Marjorie was born on February 4, 1940 to parents Harry and Hila (Jacobsen) Prather in Yuma Colorado.
She attended North High School in Denver. As a teenager she worked at Sally Lous Potato chip factory.
Marjorie married the love of her life Kenneth Robert Johnson on January 8, 1957 in Taos New Mexico, Together they had 5 loving children. Marjorie was a homemaker and would often work from home for Insolroll Window Shading Systems. She was an active member of The Rocky Mountain Long Ears Association.
Marjorie, loved to quilt and cross stitch, and making ceramics. She enjoyed being outdoors where she would go camping, Horseback riding. She loved traveling and going on cruises with her family.
Her memorable and amazing Thanksgiving dinners that she hosted for 50 years will never be forgotten.
Marjorie's memory will live on as someone who embodied patience, humor, generosity and perseverance.

She is survived by her children; Kendra Johnson, Evan Johnson (Ginger), Allen Johnson (Amy).
Her 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Sisters'; Dixie Landwehr, Marva Mowry, Lavonna Sailor, brother Larry Prather.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth Johnson, her beloved son Aaron Johnson and daughter Sharon Buckalew (Johnson) her brother Kenneth Prather and sister Linda Prather.
A memorial service for Marjorie "Cody" will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
Serving as pallbearers are Joshua Krempp, Weston Johnson, Keith Johnson and Kyle Johnson.
