Lydia Dianne Rees, Passed peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2025, surrounded by her husband and daughters. Lydia D. Rees, daughter of Jose and Ruby Romero, was born on June 29, 1953, in Longmont, CO. Survived by husband George Rees; daughters Renee (Tony) Ferrufino, Chasity (Mike) Watkajtys, Danielle (Brad Jesik) Breidenbach; grandchildren Taylor, Alexis, Brett, Reece and Ava; sisters Mary Romero, Marlene Baca, Laurie (Dale) Nelson; brother Art Romero; Preceded in death by her sisters, Linda (Pete) Pintor, Patsy (John) Smith, and Christina (Rudy) Nieto.
A funeral mass will occur at 11:00 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233. Reception will follow the funeral mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church reception hall.
