She was born February 23rd,1936 in Chacon, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Demecio and Eleanor Arellano of Denver Colorado.
Lydia was preceded in death by her daughter, Debora Jaramillo, and brother, Pete Arellano.
Lydia was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Westminster Colorado. She was a homemaker and a businesswoman. She loved collecting dolls, selling and buying at the flea-market, going to Black Hawk and traveling with her husband Ray. More than anything else, she loved spending time and/or being with her family and friends.
Lydia is survived by her husband of 69 years, Raymond Jaramillo of Westminster CO. She has one sister Paula Lopez of Denver CO. She has two daughters and 2 son-laws, Geri Crisman (Keith) of Mead CO, and Lynne Rodriguez (Alex) of Westminster CO. One son Raymond Gregory Jaramillo and one daughter-in- law (Cheryl) of Thornton CO. Lydia has 11 grandchildren; Heather Morris, Adam Crisman, Breanna Steele, Raymond Derek Jaramillo, Christina Blakley, Raymond Derek Jaramillo Jr., Daniel Rodriguez, Valerie Davenport, Eric Roth, Nichole Roth and Kyle VanDerVegt. She also has 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Lydia leaves many other loving family members and cherished friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30am, Thursday June 29th 2023, at St. Marks Catholic Church, 3141 W. 96th Ave. 80031, in Westminster Colorado. A reception and celebration of Lydia's life will be held offsite after services.
