Lilly Ann Paquette was born in New Mexico to Joe & Tarcila Archuleta. She grew up in North Denver and was a longtime resident of Thornton. Lilly married Donald Paquette in 1955 in Aurora, and they had 4 children.
She worked for many years as a Paraprofessional with special needs students. She loved to sew, crochet and read.
Lilly was involved in Boy Scouts as a Den Mother, and also volunteered with Bears & Quilts Club, providing handmade quilts and blankets for newborns in numerous hospitals.
She loved to feed the neighborhood kids and was the neighborhood mom.
Most importantly, she loved her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them with her wherever she went.
Lilly is survived by her children, Don (Janice) Paquette, Dan (Karla) Paquette, Darryl Paquette, and Lori Paquette; grandchildren, Tony (Casey) Paquette, Stephen (Courtney) Paquette, Mark (Jaime) Paquette, Audri (Kendrick) Edwards, Ami Duran, Cal Duran, Addie Paquette and Seth Paquette; great-grandchildren, Lilly and James; siblings, Anna Marsh, Joe Archuleta, Albert Archuleta, and Martha Gallardo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Tarcila Archuleta; sisters, Addie Archuleta and Laura Rivera; and by her husband, Donald Paquette.
