John Beatty was my uncle whom I loved to visit in the summer up in Evergreen Colorado  when I was a child. He used to take me for rides on their horse Chiquita. To my delight he would "trog" (trot) the horse whenever I asked.  He would share stories of his travels to China through work and the lasting friendships he made there. Thank you uncle for so many good memories. Rest in peace.
