Jerry Dean Hansen Sr.

Jerry Dean Hansen Sr., age 88, of Northglenn, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Northglenn, Colorado, peaceful and at home with his family. Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Olinger Highland.

Jerry was born in Gordon, Nebraska on April 3, 1932. He attended South High School in Denver, Colorado where he graduated and would continue to the U.S. Navy to serve 4 years. After being discharged from the Navy, he worked for Gordon Neon Sign Company as a sign hanger and an inside wireman. He went on to become a Union Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 68, until the end of his career, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed time with his family, working on his yard, going to church and watching the Denver Broncos.

Jerry is survived by his son Jay Hansen (Robyn Hansen), his daughter Sherri Cook, five grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, one great, great-grandchild and extended family and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Lila and Raymond Hansen, three sister, 1 brother and his wife Deanna Hansen.
