Jamie Alfred Romero of Northglenn, CO passed away on May 12, 2020. He was born on October 30, 1962 in Denver, CO to Michael and Genevieve "Jeanie" Romero. Jamie was devoted to taking care of his Mother throughout her illness and his father after her passing. Family was everything to him. He loved serving the Lord and was passionate about music. Whether playing the trumpet for his church band or listening to his extensive music collection of every genre. In his younger years he was a very talented soccer player and loved to ski.
Jamie is preceded in death by his Mother, Genevieve "Jeanie" Romero and survived by his father, Michael Romero; 3 sisters, Lisa Lawson, Carrie (Paul) Pixler, and Angela (Friend) Dickinson; 6 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with a Cemetary Service and lunch to follow. Both at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
