So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He hired me when I first moved to Colorado in 2005. He taught me so much through work and helped me get settled after my move there. I'm glad I got to know him if even for a short time.

I am shattered ... both for myself and for our daughters.   Please be with me in spirit to help them get through this.  THe boys ... they are so young, they don't really understand.  I will make sure they know you through the oh so many memories.  Jim ... this is SO HARD!

I worked closely with Jim for over 10 years at Air Comm. He was a great mentor and friend and I learned so much from him during that time.  He was a blessing to Air Comm in so many ways - not just in technical expertise but he was also a giving man - and I think that what he gave into the work at Air Comm and lives of people he worked with will live on.  Even today the skills he trained me on I have been able to pass on to others, and they to even newer employees so in that and other ways, Jim has left a strong legacy here.  It was a pleasure working for him and with him.

Jims mother and I are in Louisville reading these heartfelt entries during his memorial service. Unable to travel to CO, this is a lovely way for her to be part of the family during this difficult time. We both send love to all gathered in Jims memory.

I worked with Jim for 13 years and I will remember him always as a kind and gentle man who always had a smile and a story to share. You will be dearly missed at Air Comm and by one and all.

Jim was a great mentor and an amazing human being. Jim hired me 7 years ago and I learned so much from him. I worked close to him for years from heaters to air conditions. He always had a story to tell and could keep you entertained for hours. I'm going to miss our talks. He will be missed greatly by everyone that crossed his path, and in turn will never be forgotten. As I  looked at all of the photos in the gallery---and his love of nature was evident.  He looked so happy when he was out fishing, hiking, or boating....but I have to say that the most joyous expressions are when he is with his grandchildren and his children....he was a gentle, loving, and honorable man with an exemplary character and lived his life well....gone too soon.  My thoughts are with you all.

I am really at a loss for words. My heart aches for both of you and your families.  May the memories of your wonderful Dad bring you a little comfort at this most difficult time.

Jim was a quiet spoken man at work, but always had his catch phrase of “know what I mean?” to follow up any story he had to tell - got a chuckle out of that.  With a smile he often spoke of his grand kids and the Rockies; his last trip down to AZ for spring training and how his 5 yr old grandson got both; the attention and autograph of Tulowitzki, a hard to come by task accomplished with determination, and how Jim was fumbling with surprise to get the camera ready for a picture of them.  Jim also stated that he too received many autographs from his old time, pro ball players while there.  It was a good time for him.

Jim was a great man that will be missed dearly. He always had a story to tell and could keep you entertained for hours. An honorable man that could be looked up to by all.

Everybody who knew him will miss him so much. A man of few words always in the background always helping people We will all miss you so much Jim.

Him was such a cool guy and raised some great girls. He always called me Kevin and I'd correct him. Makes me laugh now. God bless.
