Frank T. Turek was born to parents, Ellen Richardson and Arthur Turek, along with his siblings Maureen and Arthur Jr., in New York City and moved to Colorado when he was seven years old. He lived in Erie, Colorado with his wife when he passed away at the age of 58 on March 28, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Valery; his children, Jacquelyn, Michael, and Brittany; his son-in-laws, Will and Dante; daughter-in-law, Krystal; and his grandchildren, Vanicia, Akeila, Kaius, Max and Theo.
He enjoyed watching and playing sports, and spending time with his family, especially playing with the kids and grandkids. He never missed opportunities to “enjoy the nice weather.” He always took time to appreciate the details of the little things. He worked hard but played even harder, a true kid at heart. He was the best husband, father and grandfather that we could all hope for.
He served his community as a Police Officer for 31 years, and positively impacted many people’s lives. During that time he went above and beyond to make sure everyone in his community was taken care of, especially families during the Holidays.
His love and support has left a lasting impact on all of the people who have had the privilege of knowing him. We know that we will always feel him protecting us from above.
A visitation for Frank will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow. All services will take place at Grace Church, 6969 Sheridan Boulevard, Arvada, CO 80003.
