I’m a classmate of Frank’s. We graduated together in 1984 in Lake County.
Frank was quite shy but a very outgoing at the same time.
I just learned of his passing today and I’m heart broken.

My sincerest condolences during this unprecedented time.  Frank was a dynamic and special person, and Kandy just enhanced him all the more.  

I don't know that I can bring any words of comfort, but here it goes:

We are all here for but an allotted time,
Time that was given fiercely in love.
Although that time seems cut short;
It's what was done with that time,
That makes it count all the more.


Kandy, on behalf of the CISC Board of Directors and members, please accept our heartfelt and deepest condolences.  The CISC depended upon Frank for his clear vision, his positive outlook, and his diligent oversight of all CISC financial activities.  
To me he was a tremendous work friend and teammate; one that I am struggling to accept has moved on.  
Frank Acosta was and will always be one of the very best people in law enforcement and in life.  We will all miss him but will always honor his memory.  We will pray for you and his work family often as well.

as a son inlaw there was none better he was loved by our entire family and he will be missed every day he was such a good husband to  our daughter Kandy.  For that we are so grateful. always willing to go out of his way to help someone in need. what a wonderful person god has called home.

Kandy, family and Brighton PD,
     I was shocked and saddened to hear of Frank’s passing. Such a wonderful human being, I always enjoyed seeing that smile, laughing and talking with him. Never a stranger, always a friend.
Kandy, you have been on my mind, I am so sorry for your loss. The two of you made such a special couple, I can see your laughter and love in my memories. My thoughts are with you all. I am so thankful, that I got to know Frank, in his time on earth, what a blessing he was, to us all. 

Kandi, I am so sorry for the loss of your Frank. He was a pleasure to work with and always made people laugh. Keep his memory close and he will always be with you.
