Ed is survived by his wife Sandy, father Glocus (Dave) Skaggs, daughter Carla (Andy) Farmer, son Paul (Michelle) Skaggs, stepson Erick (Jessica) Roberts, stepdaughter, Heather Roberts, brothers, Mike (Sandy) Skaggs, Danny (Geri) Skaggs, 8 grand children, numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was raised in Brighton Colorado and joined the United States Army in 1969, serving in Vietnam. He then went to work for Public Service (Xcel energy) where he became a journeyman lineman. He retired from Xcel in 2009 after 37 years.
Ed loved water skiing, hunting and most of all fishing. He loved going out on his boat to fish. His hobbies were woodworking and creating things. Everything he made was done to perfection. Everyone who knew him was in awe of his many skills.
He was an amazing man. He was loved by many. He will forever be missed.
A visitation for Edward will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery
A funeral service will occur Friday, April 2, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am,
the funeral service will be livestreamed.
A graveside service will occur Friday, April 2, 2021 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
A reception will occur Friday, April 2, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
