To my precious Godmother(my Nina) Doreen...even though we lost touch for a few years(like 20 or 30 yrs)you & my Nino & the kids(Frankie,Mandy & Andrew) have always been on my mind.
     I always think about the holidays & parties we spent at Auntie Jane's when we were little(BEST TIMES EVER)!!! I always remember the times i spent the night on 39th ave with my cousins you were always so hospitable & I always remember my funny Nina cracking jokes & my Nino telling stories & me thinking he was RAMBO(cuz he was a green beret) I was so happy to see u guys( even though it was it at my Uncle Paulie's funeral) I remember you saying we have to get together some time & now this...Well we will get together one last time & i will bid you a blessed farewell on your way to see our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ cuz I know you were a GOD-FEARING woman...save me a spot Nina I'm trying to walk my steps there too...God bless my Mora family & I love u Nina & I love u Nino & cousins too!!

I knew if we had Marisa (aka Chico) out there playing or coaching some volleyball she was watching proudly.  Not just matches but practices.  What a strong willed beautiful person.  & openly let me call her grandma. When I met her I needed that! I will miss you and so will my family.  Much ♥️

Grandma Doreen met me when I was 5 and from the very start she accepted me with open arms. She also had a way with twisting stories. So this one time I had taken a girl out to eat earlier and told my parents I wouldn’t be home in time for dinner.  Well I made it home just in time  and I told everyone about my annual physical appointment and my sweaty private parts. Grandma didn’t say anything right away but you could tell she was cooking up some sort of comeback. A little later she says “ Hey, I know why you have sticky balls! You were having sex!” 
One of my first memories of grandma was at Casa Bonita. Mandy, Grandma, Marisa and I had finished our meal and were walking through the Cave. I was only 5 so I was a bit scared. Grandma held my hand and I told her “ I don’t know why my knees are shaking!” Grandma held my hand until we got out. Til this day I don’t know why my knees were shaking. 
You will always be my grandma. RIP Love you! 

I believe that in each person a light is carried within them.  That light is shared with others as bonds form and grow.  The light that shone within you was bright. 
You never even batted an eye to accepting me into your life. You had shown Josiah and myself an abundance amount of love. You loved our kids selflessly and endlessly. 
I won't forget your love of vanilla chai lattes or how upset you would get with me when I brought you one when you watched the boys.  I told you Mandy told me you liked them(blame her).  The boys won't forget their pool days with you. I don't think any of us will forget the time you threw the crumbs and trash on my pie when I wasn't even finished with it.  I can't forget how excited you were for me to have Opal. 
The light within you is carried in all of us. We can definitely see the sparks of your wit and sass within Mandy and Marisa. The boys can carry the light of your love and tell Opal stories of their Great Grandma Doreen.
Rest in Peace- I hope your enjoying a nice puzzle up in heaven .

Doreen, my heart has literally ached since learning of your passing. You meant so much as my Mom-in-law many years ago. I’ll treasure memories of chats on the front porch swing, kiddo/doggie walks, card games, backyard BBQ’s, shopping sprees and trips to beaches & New Mexico with you! Your loving and doting Grandma time with your Javi (my Cisco kid) was precious. You came to represent resiliency, laughter, family and feistiness wrapped in a warm blanket on the couch. I love you dearly Doreen and grew to appreciate you even more when life later taught me not all mother in-law dynamics come so easily! 
Sending Frank, Andrew & Mandy tremendous love & support in their healing from your unexpected loss. These important moments remind me history and memories still bind us beautifully. My family also send their abrazos & condolences as they fondly remember & honor you. 

Mom, I could not have asked for a sweeter mother-in-law than you. You welcomed me like family from the day I met you. I will miss talking about our doll collections, sitting on the couch, loving on Deja or going for Chinese food down the street. I will miss your hugs and kisses. I will miss going to the matinée movies, you and your refillable popcorn bucket. I’ll always laugh and be filled with joy at memories of our time together.  Losing you so suddenly has left us in shock and deeply heart broken. I am forever grateful for having known you and for the most precious gift you could have ever given me, your amazing son! He completes my world and fills my heart everyday and I have you and dad to thank for him. I love you. I miss you. God rest your soul. 
P.S. We’ll always have the piñons ;-)

My loving sister, my life will never be the same without you. You have always been there for me and that I will never forget. I know that you were a God fearing woman and I know that I will see you again in Heaven with our Savior Jesus Christ. It comforts  me to know that you are safe and warm in Our Savior's arms. I will think of you every day till I see you again. I love you so much and I know my heart will never heal. Forever in my heart.

I am grateful I had the chance to know Doreen even just a little bit.  She was a caring soul and it touched my heart that she asked after me. 
I know her family will miss her immensely and they cherished every minute with her.

You were always strong and never held back. Always said what's on your mind and was always honest. I appreciated that. Loved your wit and sharp tongue. I wish we would have seen each other more.  This world is a different place without you. With all our love, rest in peace. Love you Auntie.

Mama Doreen is in some of my favorite memories. I know that the mark she left on me is a great one, and because of this, she'll never really be gone. 
Rudy, Mandy, Marisa, and family, I can't imagine how you're feeling right now and I won't pretend to know the loss that you're experiencing. May you RIP Doreen!  From the first time we met you at Marisa’s volleyball tournament to all the times we were together at family parties, you always welcomed us with your love and kindness.  Your sweetness, contagious smile and laughter will be missed!!!  Mandy, Rudy and kids, our love and condolences to you all, your mama / grandma was an amazing lady and our family will certainly miss her!!

I am deeply saddened from the passing of grandma Doreen. Not only did you accept me as your bonus granddaughter, but you accepted our babies as your own grand babies. I wish we had more moments together and I could hug you one more time and hear your sassy responses to my dad. Not only were you so loved but you absolutely lived. We love you so much and will cherish all the sweet moments we had. You will be very missed and thought of every visit to Denver in the future. Thank you for loving us unconditionally and showing pure selflessness.

I still can’t believe you’re gone. I Love you for always excepting me as your daughter, and even though I had other children from my next marriage, you still called me your daughter and excepted all my kid’s as your grandchildren! I have no words. My heart is broken and I feel like I can’t breathe without you here. I miss your hands, your hugs, your kisses and most importantly… I miss your voice. I will miss our phone calls, pool days, lakeside adventures, trips to baskin robins, our sleepovers, and just hanging out on the couch watching investigation shows. I will miss you for the rest of my life. I promise to make you proud and live everyday to the fullest.
