Deanna Jewell Hansen (Smith) age 82, of Aurora Colorado passed away on Monday September 28, 2020 in Northglenn, Colorado. Services will be held Saturday October 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Olinger Highland, followed by a small reception.
Deanna was born in Aurora Colorado, on October 31, 1937. She attended Aurora Central High School and went on to become a bookkeeper at the bank of Broomfield for fifteen years. After she became a Special Education Assistant at Horizon High School till the end of her career in 1996. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, reading romance novels and watching both Nascar and the Denver Broncos.
Deanna is survived by her beloved husband Jerry Hansen Sr., son Jay Hansen (Robyn Hansen), daughter Sherri Cook, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. 3 sisters, 1 brother and a large extended family and friends. Deanna is preceded in death by her parents Lela and A.B. Smith, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
