David is survived by his loving family; daughter Greighlyn Byers, fiancée Aphton Griffey, father Woodrow Byers, mother Elizabeth Pechumer, step-mother Doreen Byers, step-father Kenneth Pechumer, brother Aaron Byers, sister Rebekah (Ryan) Condon, step-sister Kelly (Andrew) Grignon, step-brother Kevin Pechumer, step-brother Anthony (Michelle) Cozzaglio, step-sister Corinne Cozzaglio, grandparents Franklin and Virginia Sue Byers, and a grandmother Darlene Scharschwerdt, also numerous uncles and aunts
