Connie Jean Hoagland, age 68, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020, after a fierce battle against Alzheimer’s Dementia. She was born in Boulder, Colorado on January 13, 1952 to Glenn and Shirley Lilja. Connie was always so caring, loving, compassionate, and classy! In 2015, Connie relocated from Arizona to come back to her native Colorado. During these past 5 years, she resided with her son, Nathan Hoagland, and son-in-law, Marty Aragon. In her last few months, they were privileged to be her 24/7 family ¬¬caretakers, along with the exceptional support from the Brookdale In-Home Hospice experts! Connie is survived by her loving sister Carol (Dan) Amos; her daughters Michelle Hoagland and Naomi (Joshua) Garcia; her sons Jeremiah (Cathryn) Hoagland and Nathan (Marty) Hoagland; and 3 grandchildren.
A “Celebration of Life Service” will take place Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Olinger Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229.
